Introduction

Since agriculture is the backbone of economic development, the main responsibility of this office is to promote and spread modern agricultural technology and improve the system based on traditional agriculture, transform the subsistence agriculture system into a commercial agriculture system and improve the living standards of farmers. By absorbing this fact, the agricultural development of the district should help the economic development of the region. In the year 2033/2034, with the establishment of the District Animal Office, after the implementation of federalism in the country, under the 5th provincial government, B.S. On 26 Bhadra 2075, the Banke district work area was established and the Veterinary Hospital and Animal Services Expert Center, Banke was established.



Purpose

To contribute to sustainable and equitable economic and social development of the province by developing and expanding cooperative based products, enterprises and service businesses while promoting the principles and values of cooperatives. By using modern technology in the agricultural sector, to gain competitiveness and increase production and productivity, as well as to promote agro-based industries. Encouraging the use of technology in livestock rearing, ensuring commercial, competitive and healthy livestock production and achieving self-reliance in livestock production to develop this sector as a means of income generation as well as employment.


Responsibility of the Centre

Through scientific management of land and land use based on social justice, by mobilizing the cooperative sector, achieve self-reliance in the field of agriculture and livestock production of the province and bring the produce of this sector to exportable condition.
